Web Application Assignment

As mentioned during the lecture on Wednesday, your assignment (Individual ICA) is available in CMS (under the root node). Please take note of the due date, and work on your assignment early, so that you're not rushing at the last minute.

Also a reminder, next week you'll have a 10% e-quiz during your lab, conducted via CMS. This will cover topics 1.1 - 3.2, and will consist of MCQ and T/F questions.

BRIEF DETAILS OF ASSIGNMENT
*As from CMS.

Task:
To do a personal Web
-Should contain content about yourself (e.g. interests, hobbies, bio, blog, favorite music, etc.), and should be your own personal expression.

Requirements:
-Frame Set
-5 content pages; Including main/home page
-One should include a background image
-Hyperlinks to external sites
-At least one table
-Must include one form
-Should be interactive with Flash and etc.
-Menu frame should include hyperlinks
-Links must be workable
-External cascading style sheet (.css file) needs to be available;
to edit presentation (text and such) with it.

* ENTIRE WEBSITE TO BE AT LEAST 10 MEGABYTES

Weightage:
20%

· Completion of the minimum requirements with full functionality: 60%.
· Creativity and originality: 20%.
· Application of effective Web design principles: 15%.
· Neatness and good HTML coding style: 5%.

Deadline:
Wednesday,
2 JULY 2008.
